Hi Everyone,

Praise to our Father..  I was just going through some notes I have happened to make everytime I listen to a sermon.

As I was going through it - I came across a long forgotten sermon - if I'm not wrong I heard it on radio and it was by Pastor John Carson (sp) on why it's important to give.. Somehow it has touched my heart.  This is a quote from what is a note from what he preached

"If something is really important to me, give it away.  The happy person is not the one who has the most but he who wants the least.  Give it away, and every time you do so, you're giving away your selfishness.  When you give you are freed from your greed."

If I may add a few things about what Christ is teaching me through the bible and my walk with Him - is that - by His very nature God is a giver...He gives life to us, He lay down His life for us..He gives us food to eat..He protects us..He also really forgives us our wrongs and shows us mercy. Perhaps we should raise our own standards with His help and become a people that is conformed to His will Romans 12:1&2  and not to our own nature.  Our life should be about allowing Christ to work through us..Thinking of others, loving them and sacrificing our own wants for others.  We become Christians not by baptism, or by confession but being Christ-like in character..and this is what He says about giving..It is more blessed to give than to receive...

Let's try guys...let's please our Father...by thinking less of ourselves and more about others...and for real we shall be blessed..

Today I pray for mercy....I need mercy in my life...being what I am...I need mercy....I pray for you to,...all of us....I pray for mercy...We are undeserving...But our Father...You are loving...You called us out of Egypt...and though we fall and sin and groan and complain...do not leave us here...Father, remember we are dust...so that they do not say that You brought us here to kill us...We love You...not in the perfect way that You have loved us....but with all our might we desire to do our best...so we come to Your temple...for we depend on You only....to inquire of You...to seek You Lord...to say thank you....and to seek more grace....that our inner man may be strengthened and that our vessels You may use...It's not easy...But we know if You go before us, if You walk with us God...we will make it....We bless Your Name this day...Father, we beg for Your mercy....and in all our situations...may Your grace always be sufficient...Forgive us when we have worshipped other idols, and made graven images of our own...it is foolishness...rebuke us Lord,...and let not our hearts refuse it...That we may be found to be worthy of You....Good night, brothers and sisters...Big hugs and kisses to all who might need it...

Praise the Lord, all men...

Lift your hands high to worship Him

Lift Your eyes to the Lord, for He is forever...

Our God, the God of Jacob, of Abraham and of Isaac...

He is good...He is magnificent...He has given us a joy unspeakable, inexpressible

He gives life and He sustains it

He gives peace and He sustains it

He teaches wisdom and keeps us in its way

He sets free, He is God...He is the only God

You shall not set your eyes - all earth and all heavens - on any other God - besides Him

He has saved and He has delivered...

Praise Jehovah - He is mighty...

Come before Him and bow at His feet...for He is Holy

He is merciful, He is faithful, He is just, He is powerful, He is the all in all

He is our God...He has chosen us....we who were not a people...

He has called us...who were unfaithful... and betrothed us to Himself...

We find identity in Him... We find security in Him....We find life in Him...

Let all the earth hear...the Son of God in all His glory....has saved, has delivered, has conquered - the sting of death...of sin....

Let us run, while it is still day...Let us find while we still can...

Let us be conformed to His will, Let us not be in found wanting in our labor

Let us lift His banner up....for all the earth to see and to hear....

Strengthen the feeble knees, make strong the resolve to fight

Purify your hands, your feet and your ways....for He loves you..

He wills that none be lost,...Be of good courage....Keep fighting

For He will not tarry....For He is faithful.....We love Him for He first loved us...

PRAISE, PRAISE, PRAISE, .....PRAISE, PRAISE, PRAISE TO OUR LORD AND SAVIOR

Since I met You, my life has changed... I am so glad that when YOU came by and knocked at the door of my heart I opened that door..  I am so glad that I believed You when You said You were who You are.. When You said You would be faithful.  When You said You wouldn't leave.  When You said You would teach me wisdom.  When You said You would mature me.  When You said You could set me free - from a miserable existence, from sin and teach me to be Holy, when You said You could give me the power to overcome, when You said You were a miracle working God...You didn't lie...You have been true...and from what I have seen so far...You will pretty much stay that way...If only I had the power to show others You...no one believes me, they are skeptical, they think of it as nonsense and weakness to give you a chance...just like I used to...But I do my part and tell them of Your love...and You do the rest and talk to each heart...and I pray for all those who haven't met You yet, in Your kindness and compassion and perfect wisdom - may You find each soul and may Your kingdom come...Lord...may we who have been found be worthy labourers...reflecting Your love and light...  May we take the focus of ourselves and think about others a little more often....and May we overcome all the battles that seem to prevail against us, every work of the evil one, may we overcome principalities, darkness and foolishness that we may shine the Holiness, the goodness and the Love of our Lord and God forth.  Give us power on this day...in our individual lives, in our families, in our stubborn little hearts and in our work, home, prison cells, hospitals, dark corners, all our places...let Your flesh shine forth....

I am so glad to have met You...I am so glad that You suffered me...and that You and still continue  to bear with my foolishness and teach me and lead me into Your way - that is best and everlasting.... Lord I love, worship and adore You...We all do...In inadequate, in very strange and sometimes imperfect ways...but in our often imperfect ways...we trust...I trust that we are being sanctified daily and brought to perfection...for You...Be with us...Have Your will done...and Lord be with us...Don't leave us....according to Your word....

Loads of love to all those brave enough to have said Yes to Christ and had the boldness to walk into the difficult and narrow way of life...To those who chose to see the unseen, to hear the unheard...those who chose to follow Him...to each one of you who has to in some way suffer for being a follower of Christ...keep going be faithful....cause He loves You and You will be rewarded and we know that He is faithful and His rewards are trully out of this world....Blessed are the eyes that see what He sees...Be blessed guys... BE STRONG....

Paul is my only encouragement at this hour and time of my life.. It's good to know that someone else feels that they don't do enough for our God who just loves us so much..

He says it well when He says that the things I want to do I don't do and the things I don't want to do those I do... it's a little crazy....and as a believer it is kinda real proof of the fact that this walk is so real... The struggle is so real...I just think about the crucifixion of Christ and the dying on the cross and my own struggle with not listening to the flesh or the carnal and dying to myself... it's tough....

But I take comfort in knowing Hosea 2:19 - He says in faithfulness I will betroth you... This might look like a fight - a battle - but it's not me who's fighting it - i'm just conceding - like letting it happen but the real warrior is Christ..if only my own kingdoms would fall so that His would come..

Is there anyone out there who's making it?  Like in obedience?...i don't actually fall... but it's more of a scraping through,.. like barely making it... and i'm so tired of the "i'm sorry God.."  I'm not doing well enough...you know...I wonder do I ever put a smile on my Father's face? Do I ever...?

But hey, no matter what - I am steadfast... faith is up...even if half the time - I'm flat on my face...it's gonna work out...He'll carry me through...He promised.. He would didn't He?

Love you guys!! Isaiah 26:3  You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you... Amen...

May our Lord keep you, bless you and establish you all in your walk of faith....
